MOMS data set

MOMS-2P German Stereo and Multispectral Scanner on MIR/Priroda - operated from 1996-1999

Data Take: T08C5 - Germany-Italy - acquired on: 08-MAY-1998

The data take T08C5 has been taken in imaging mode D comprising the nadir looking colour channels 1 (blue) and 4 (near IR), and the off-nadir looking stereo channels 6 and 7 (panchromatic).

Preprocessing status:
radiometric: removal of odd/even effect and different sensitivity of the CCD elements
geometric: none for channels 1/6/7, channel 4 is delivered in a version registered to channel 1 (band-to-band registration)

2 MOMS scenes in all channels are provided; scene overlap is 120 lines.

Time synchronization of auxiliary data is provided via frame count in IGM attitude file. Image frame counts are given in amb-files.

The nominal stereo angle of channels 6 and 7 is 21.45 degree.

MOMS orbit parameters are those of the Russian Mir space station:
- inclination 51.6 degree
- variable altitude (for the provided scenes of T08C5 about 383 km)
- nearly circular orbit).

MOMS resolution on Priroda Mission:
- 18m off nadir PAN
- 18m NADIR MS
