Sherman Wu Young Authors Awards on
Space Science or Real-time Photogrammetry
On the occasion of his 80th birthday, Sherman Wu, well known for his work on mapping Mars and winner of the ISPRS Cassini Award in 2004,
and his wife, have donated $2500 to The ISPRS Foundation to fund an award for Young Authors at the ISPRS Congress to be held in Beijing in
July 2008. The award will be made for the best paper by an author under 35 years of age, on the topic of either 'Space Science or Real-time
Photogrammetry'.
Authors wishing to nominate for this award must satisfy the conditions for Young Authors Awards which are:
- Born on or after the 1 July 1973
- Single author
- Age proof in English and additional copy of final manuscript to the President of ISPRS
- Deadline for submitting the abstract of paper: 5 November 2007
- Deadline for submitting the full manuscript: 31 January 2008
Young Authors who have already submitted an abstract on the relevant topics are eligible for this award provided they inform
the Congress Director.
