As the conference has continued to be held, it has consolidated itself as the most widely-known event held in our country on this subject, becoming a meeting point for scientists, professionals, and students in the sector, both nationally and internationally.

Prior to and during the conference, more than 30 events have been programmed, including conferences, tutorials and evening sessions, given and supported by the main corporations and institutions in the sector. At the same time as the conference, the 2nd International Geotelematics Fair (GlobalGeo), an international meeting point for supply and demand on the Geomatics and Geotelematics market will be held.

The 6th Geomatic Week and the GlobalGeo fair will be held from the 8th to 11th and 8th to 10th of February 2005 in the Congress Palace of Fira Barcelona.
