Travel Grants by the ISPRS Foundation for GSW 2025, 6 -11 April 2025

The ISPRS Foundation (TIF) will be offering travel grants to deserving applicants, especially from developing countries, to participate in the Geospatial Week (Dubai GSW’2025), April 2025, Dubai, UAE.

Please note that TIF has limited amount of travel grant funds to support limited number of applicants and that the grants may not cover all the financial expenditures needed for the travel, food and stay. Applicants are therefore expected to mobilise additional funds from other funding sources to support their participation.

Important dates for applicants for travel grants sponsored by The ISPRS Foundation.

  • Applications for travel grants “live” on TIF web site : October 20,  2024
  • Deadline for submission of travel grant applications : January 12, 2025
  • Decision and notification of successful applicants : February 2, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance of travel grant to Operations Officer : February 9, 2025

TIF Travel Grants for TC IV Symposium, 2024

The ISPRS Foundation (TIF) has announced the awardees of its travel grants to attend the ISPRS Technical Commission IV mid-term Symposium on ‘Spatial Information to Empower the Metaverse’ to be held during 22-25 October, 2024 in Perth, Australia.  The Grant Evaluation Committee reviewed all the applications submitted for the travel grant and found suitable to receive the travel grants for the following applicants: Mr. Agus Ambarwari (Indonesia), Ms. Surbhi Barnwal (India), Mrs. Michelle de Klerk (South Africa), Dr. Kashaf Shakoor (Pakistan), Mr. Dharshan Shylesh (India), Mr. Aditya Kumar Thakur (India), Dr. Renate Thiede (South Africa) and Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed (India). The awardees will receive the sanctioned travel grant amount at the venue from one of the office bearers of the ISPRS Council. TIF thanks all the travel grant applicants and congratulates the awardees.
