ISPRS - Technical Commission VII 2012-2016

Thematic Processing, Modeling and Analysis of Remotely Sensed Data

Our Mission:

Within Technical Commission VII the aim is to promote remote sensing in general, and information extraction in particular.  Working groups are encouraged to expand and improve their programs by incorporating new, novel, and exciting research. International cooperation is seen as an essential component to promote the science whilst the development, use, and distribution of geospatial datasets; the exploitation of existing satellite data archives; and  investigating new remote sensing capabilities, such as provided by new multi-spectral imagers, SAR satellites and lidar instruments, are also core components.
